A note on the structure of the play: Act One moves through the odd-numbered scenes (1, 3, 5, 7). After turning around at the act break, the story continues in Act Two with the even-numbered scenes taking place — in essence, coming home — in reverse order (8, 6, 4, 2). The effect should be that of a round-trip journey that begins and ends at Point A.
