Two journalists break of their affair when one of them is sent to Bosnia to cover the war.
Paul Grellong (Playwright) studied playwriting as an undergraduate at Brown University. His play Manuscript, directed by Bob Balaban, opened at the Daryl Roth Theatre (New York City) in June 2005. He wrote the music, lyrics, and book for Hot Star, Nebraska, which was produced in March 2002 by SpeakEasy Stage Company (Boston). His play Warfare was part of the inaugural season of Playwrights Rep in July 2005. His play Power of Sail was one of ten finalists for the 2004 Herrick Theatre Foundation Playwrights Competition; it went on to a workshop production at Playwrights Rep in June 2006. His newest play, Radio Free Emerson, was commissioned by the Gamm Theatre (Pawtucket, RI) and premiered there in the spring of 2007. The New Fire was first produced by the Echo Theatre Company (Los Angeles); other one-act plays have been staged in New England by NewGate Theatre and the Echolalia Theatre Festival. His plays have been read and workshopped at Cape Cod Theatre Project, MTC, MCC, Trinity Repertory Company, DR2 Theatre, and the Black Dahlia Theatre. Television Writing Credits include: NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Paul is a member of Los Angeles’s Taper/Center Theatre Group’s Writer’s Workshop for 2007-2008.
